Our story didn’t start with a brand.
It started with a breakdown.
Later came the breakthrough.
We didn’t sit down with a business plan or a grand strategy. We were just two people trying to save ourselves.
Trying to save our marriage.
There was this unspoken prayer between us, quiet, shaky, and real.
We were burned out, but not the kind you post about with a vacation photo and a comeback caption. We were over it. Over the noise, over the performance, and over the pretending.
We were drifting apart, feeling the slow pull of a world that rewards surface over soul and drives disconnection.
And then… it happened.
We don’t really have language for it. Just a wave of clarity that hit us both at once, like we had made a secret pact before birth and were finally waking up to it.
The desire to drink?
Gone. Not managed. Not negotiated. Gone. Cleansed.
Like someone turned off the static and turned on the light.
That moment didn’t just make us sober. It made us available. To our bodies. To each other. To the parts of life we had been too numb to touch.
Especially the animals. They looked at us differently, as if they had known who we were all along and were just waiting for us to remember.
The business came next, but it wasn’t really a business at first. It was a calling.
In 2021, we started something called Pure Purée™. We didn’t know where it would go. We just knew we had to create something that helped make the world less synthetic.
After we got sober, everything sharpened. Our journey to reclaim our own health and authenticity became the blueprint for something much larger.

It hasn’t been a smooth road. And we would never want it to be.
Smooth roads don’t teach you much. They don’t wake you up. They don’t burn off the layers you don’t even know you are carrying.
The road that built us was uneven, humbling, and exact.
Getting sober wasn’t just a personal victory. It was a full system reset. It stripped away every shortcut, every mask, and every false urgency we had relied on to feel safe. It forced us to sit with the parts of ourselves that the old world taught us to ignore.
Starting Pure Pawsitivity™ didn’t make the road smoother. It made it truer.
We didn’t come into this industry with backing, connections, or an easy blueprint. We came with devotion. And devotion is heavy to carry when the old system is designed to reward shortcuts and punish truth-tellers.
We faced doubt, from others and from within.

The most important lesson we have learned is that real success is measured in alignment, not applause.

Choosing one often means losing the other.
Our journey taught us that you cannot build something sacred by seeking validation from a system that rewards shortcuts. You have to build quietly, steadily, and patiently, even when no one is clapping.
We learned that it is better to serve a few in truth than to serve many in pretense.
We learned that saying no, even when it costs you opportunities, is often the real yes to what matters.
